Lithuanian Constitution questions:
30 samples with answers

Questions in Lithuanian, as in the exam, with a translation, the correct answer and an explanation citing the article of the Constitution.

Updated October 15, 2026

Short answer. The Lithuanian Constitution exam has 20 questions in Lithuanian with three answer options each: you get 45 minutes and need 14 correct answers to pass. NŠA does not publish an official list of questions, so below are 30 questions from the Talkfirst bank covering all 14 chapters of the Constitution, with the answer and the article.

The questions below follow the exam programme and are written from the Lithuanian text of the Constitution as amended (in force since 22 May 2022). They are not official questions: NŠA does not publish a question bank or mock tests for the Constitution exam. But they work the same way as in the exam: a question in Lithuanian, three options, exactly one correct. There are questions from each of the 14 chapters, and more from the longest ones: the individual and the State, the Seimas and the State of Lithuania.

How to use them: read the question and the options in Lithuanian and choose an answer first, then look at the translation and the explanation. To test yourself on 20 other questions, take the practice test right on the page, no sign-up. The exam format, the 14 chapters of the programme and the key numbers are in the guide Lithuanian Constitution exam.

How to remember them

  • Learn the wording in Lithuanian. There is no translation in the exam, and questions often repeat the words of the article: neliečiama, įstatymas, tik teismai.
  • Write down numbers and terms separately: five years, 9 judges, 31 December. A summary table is in the guide to the Constitution exam.
  • Got one wrong? Reread the whole article, not just the line with the answer.
