Short answer. Talkfirst is one app in the browser (app.talkfirst.io) and in Telegram, plus a connector for Claude and ChatGPT, all on one account. Voice conversations, pronunciation, quizzes, lectures and mock A2 and Constitution exams live in the app, and the agent in the chat sees your results, your vocabulary and your progress.
An AI agent lives in a chat window. That is the right place to ask why it is Pasukite į kairę and not something else, to turn a landlord's message into flashcards, or to agree a plan for the month. It is the wrong place to do ten minutes of review at a bus stop, or to talk out loud on the way home from a shift. This guide describes the app where the practice happens and how it stays in sync with the agent.
One app, three doors
The web app at app.talkfirst.io and the Telegram Mini App (bot @any_lang_learn_bot) are the same app. The connector for Claude and ChatGPT uses the same account. You sign in with a code sent to your email or with Telegram; a new email creates a free account. Your vocabulary, flashcards, plan and progress are the same everywhere.
The interface and the explanations are available in English, Russian and Ukrainian. The course is switched in the app — language and level — and the agent's tools work in the active course.
What is in the app
Five tabs:
- Today — words of the day with ▶, All vocabulary, “Already know some words? Check what you know”, and the pace card if you have set a goal.
- Talks — voice conversations with an AI partner in scenes, followed by a review: pauses, corrections, “Say it better” and new words with a “+” to add them.
- Quizzes — recognition, recall, listening and speaking, on your own words.
- Lessons — ready lectures on the course topics for A1–A2 and the ones your agent built for you.
- Vocabulary — everything you are learning; a word can be removed here.
At the top of the screen are the course switcher and the mode: Strict, Zen or Mix. Zen keeps practice free of pressure.

Lithuanian specifically
The free scenes are Meeting someone, At a café, Asking the way, and for Lithuanian also “At the customer's door” — useful if you deliver orders or drive. Pro opens all scenes and your own conversation topic.
The app also has the mock exams for permanent residence: the oral part of the A2 exam, the written part and the Constitution test. They run in the app, not in the chat. On the free plan you get one full mock of each kind every 7 days. More on the format: the A2 mock exam and the Constitution test.
What the agent sees from the app
Whatever you do in the app, the agent can read afterwards. Conversations come through dialogue_result, quizzes through quiz_result, and flashcards, activity and pronunciation attempts through progress. So you can practise on the phone and sort it out with the agent later.
I had a conversation in the courier scene at lunch. Look at the result and tell me the two mistakes I should work on first.
I did a listening quiz on the phone this morning. Which words did I miss? Make a pronunciation window for the worst one.
I recorded the phrase in the app. Done.
The last one matters on a phone: in the Claude mobile apps connector windows have no microphone. The text tools work there, but recording happens in the Talkfirst app. When you write “done”, the agent takes the result from progress.
A week with the agent and the app
A setup that works for many learners:
- Claude on the laptop, once or twice a week. Go through your conversation reviews, add words from work or from letters, build two or three lectures, check the plan and the pace.
- Telegram on the phone, every day. Flashcards that are due, a short quiz, one conversation, a lecture on the bus with the screen off.
Prepare my week: three lectures for the bus, a quiz on the words I keep pausing before, and add the scene “At the customer's door” to this week's focus.
The agent builds the lectures, which show up on the Lessons tab, and updates the week's focus; the conversation itself you do on the phone. Everything goes into one vocabulary and one progress record.
Without an agent
The app works on its own too. Conversations, quizzes, ready lectures and mock exams don't need Claude or ChatGPT. Your own words, though, come in through the agent or from conversation reviews: the app has no “add your own word” button. Words are in Lithuanian words with an AI agent.

Questions
Is there a Lithuanian learning app in Telegram?
Yes: Talkfirst runs as a Telegram Mini App through the bot @any_lang_learn_bot. It is the same app as in the browser, with the same account, vocabulary and progress.
Do I need Claude or ChatGPT to use the app?
No. Conversations, quizzes, lectures and mock exams work without an agent. The agent adds your own words, builds lectures on request and keeps the plan with you.
Is there an app in the App Store or Google Play?
Talkfirst runs in the browser and in Telegram, which both work on a phone. Sign in with an email code or with Telegram.
Can I pay by card?
Not yet. Pro is paid with Telegram Stars: 500 Stars for 30 days.
