How to learn Lithuanian
with an AI agent

Short answer. Why an agent, and what it lacks on its own

Claude and ChatGPT talk to you in Lithuanian at your level, explain why a word changed its ending, play a landlord or a doctor and rephrase what you said more naturally. That is a lot.

What a plain chat lacks is a record. It doesn't keep a list of your words with review dates, a new chat starts almost from scratch, and voice mode tries to understand you rather than grade you, so it won't tell you which word came out wrong. 1. Open Claude in the browser or in the desktop app.
2. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.

4. Sign in with a code sent to your email or with Telegram. A new email creates a free account.

ChatGPT

1. Turn on developer mode: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings.
2. Create an app with the URL https://mcp.talkfirst.io/mcp and OAuth sign-in, then sign in the same way.

Whether developer mode is available depends on your ChatGPT plan and region. In the Claude mobile apps connector windows have no microphone: the text tools work, and voice practice continues in the Talkfirst app. Choose Lithuanian as your course in the app; the tools work in the active course. Six things to give your agent

1. Your words

This is the main one. Tell the agent which phrases you need — from a letter, a shift, a conversation — and it writes them into your vocabulary with an example and a meaning. They become flashcards and quizzes. Lithuanian words with an AI agent.

Your first session in 15 minutes

1. Introduce yourself. “I'm A1 in Lithuanian, I live in Vilnius and work as a courier. I need A2 for permanent residence. Explain in English.” The agent updates your profile and offers to save the standing wishes to your notes.
2. Give it words. “Add to my vocabulary: Koks durų kodas?, Esu prie durų, Paskambinsiu jums, with a short example each.”
3. Say one out loud. “Give me a pronunciation window for Esu prie durų.” On a phone, record in the Talkfirst app and write “done”.
4. Review. “A short quiz on these words: listening and say it in Lithuanian.”
5. Order a lecture. “Make a 5-minute lecture on the verb būti for tomorrow's bus ride.”
